Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating

Why should you have your car paint corrected & ceramic coated?
If you ask me, the answer is pretty simple - your car is an investment.
Ceramic is a liquid polymer applied by hand to the vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with paint, creating a layer of protection, putting a buffer between your car and normal wear and tear of daily driving. Etching from bird droppings, hard water spots, minor scratches and swirls, road salts, iron contaminants that eat your paint, chemical stains from naturally acidic contaminants, dirt and grime, road debris, oxidation from sun exposure, etc. Ceramic coating also keeps your car cleaner because of the hydrophobic properties - meaning it repels water. Ceramic adds gloss and shine, enhancing reflective properties of the paint and clear coat, adding depth and clarity.

Most auto detail professionals offer paint correction and ceramic coating as two separate items - but I don't.
I don't recommend ceramic coating your vehicle without paint correction.
When you ceramic coat your car, you are putting a semi-permanent multi layer coating on to your entire vehicle. Any blemishes, scratches, swirls, etching, etc. in the paint will be locked into the paint surfaces. Correcting your paint FIRST will remove those blemishes so the ceramic coating can be applied to blemish-free, pristine, paint. Paint correction also allows for better chemical bonding between the paint and the ceramic. Correcting paint after ceramic is a labor intensive and more expensive process. That's why I package them together, to make sure you're getting the most out of our services.

Water Spot Treatment
A normal drop of water contains a certain amount of minerals and dirt. When the water evaporates from your vehicle's surface, those minerals and dirt are left behind, creating visible spots. This treatment uses special water-spot removal chemicals, CarPro Spotless, applied to paint, trim and glass to get those hardened water spots off. Recommended sealant application after treatment, see options below!

CarPro Reload is a spray-on sealant applied to exterior surfaces that provides 4 months of vehicle protection for daily drivers. Reload has a slick super hydrophobic layer which repels water, dirt and grime, and leaves your car with a glossy, highly reflective shine. Once applied, Reload keeps your paint clean longer, makes washing the car easier, and allows you to dry it faster.

The cost conscious sealant option! The P&S Double Black product line is the official detailing product of the Air Force One Detailing Team! P&S is also used on Marine One. P&S Bead Maker is a temporary protectant applied to the paint that provides protection from everyday elements for 4-6 weeks. Bead Maker forces water sheeting and beading, which prevents minor water spots and dirt and grime from reaching the paint.

Did you know there's ceramic coating for fabric? CQ Fabric is the most durable protectant for textiles against water, liquid, dirt and stains. It does not affect the look, texture, breathability or color. About Us
Our Story
Cars and bikes have always been a big part of my life, since I was young. I started out detailing my own cars and my friend's and family's cars as a hobby. Having a mechanically sound clean, protected car has always been important to me. My love of cars has rubbed off on my wife, too. Since we met several years ago, she has been loving and caring for cars right along with me, both mechanically and aesthetically . We want to share that feeling of happiness you have when you know your car and bike has received the best care it can possibly get.
We started our small business in 2020 after moving to Dumfries, Virginia. My wife, Rebecca, is active duty Air Force, and we moved to Northern Virginia on military orders. I am formerly a certified BMW Technician and was in the dealer network for 5 years. I recently stepped away from being a technician to start my small business, Art In Motion LLC. I have several years experience and expertise doing professional bumper to bumper care on BMW's and am very excited to pursue small business ownership. This allows me the opportunity to care for my customers in ways not possible in dealerships. I do not believe in shortcuts and sacrificing quality for speed is not an option. We are car collectors and enthusiasts ourselves and we know what our customers expect.
